Pricking in the margin of the piece at the back. Ruled in sharp very dark grey. Written space at least 98 mm high; 10 lines occupy 34 mm. At least 28 lines.
Written in textura, somewhat clumsily, in two sizes, the larger for lections.
Initials, to lections, 2-line, red with blue infilling and flourishing, or blue with red infilling and flourishing.
Written in northern France, perhaps for use in the vicinity of Soissons, WHEN.
Hinge strips in Shelfmark of source: Cosin BB.vii.20 - Catullus. Tibullus. Propertius (Paris: ex officina Simonis Colinaei, 1543), bound in French 16th century gilt-tooled binding. Ownership inscriptions: “Richarde Carmarden Roger Speccot John Glanvill Cantabrigiae Emmanuell Colledge 1592”.
Two pieces from the edges of the upper part of adjoining (?) leaves; the piece at the back precedes that at the front. Sanctoral: Gervasius & Protasius full office.
