The Old Choristers Association

The Association was first formed in 1897 at a meeting attended by 27 old choristers, the minutes of which are recorded as the first entry in COCA/1. The archive does not currently hold COCA items after 1977, although the Association is still (2013) in existence and active.

The collection contains items relating to the history of the Durham Cathedral Old Choristers' Association 1897-1977; including minutes of AGMS and committee meetings, annual reports and financial accounts, information on membership and reunion events.

Deposited with Durham Cathedral Library by the Association at various times. Transferred into custody of Durham University at 5 The College, July 2016 (accession Misc.2013/14:66)
