Parchment cut from an early 14th century natural history text and mid 16th century documents, re-used as hinge-strips for the six volumes of Plutarch's Works.

Written in small roundishtextura competently.
Initials, to each section, 2-line, alternately red infilled with one or two vertical lines and with a little flourishing in blue and blue similarly embellished in red.

Stephanus, Anno MDLXXII), in a late 16th century limp vellum binding, with gilt centrepieces and spine decoration, with ownership inscriptions of Jacques Poille (deleted) and of the Maurist congregation of St Julian Tours.
Unidentified text, consisting of short sections covering diverse subjects, e.g. de fatuo amore (K.3 front), aquila, ferrum “Ferrum quando extrahitur a terra”, De stulto (K.3. back), equus (K.4 front), de cane, de porco, de accipite, de iniquitate divitum (K.5 front) and de scala (K.5 back), with moralizations and scriptural references.
