Report by S.R. Simpson on a visit to the Sudan to examine the entire field of land law and the structure of land administration and procedure in the Sudan, with contributions by D.T. Lloyd, formerly Director of Lands and Surveys in Fiji and Dr. D.R. Denman, Head of the Department of Land Economy at Cambridge University. Dr. Simpson was formerly Registrar-General and Commissioner of Lands in the Sudan, retiring in 1953. Also included are letters from S.R. Simpson to J.G.Mavrogordato [J.G.M.] re his offer to draft new legislation for land law in the Sudan (736/3/37-50)
