Our Lady's Missionary League was also known as the Catholic Women’s Missionary League. For a time, the league was closely associated with the APF both at 59 and 23 Eccleston Square. In 1975 they had the same charity number as the APF. A letter dated 1978 (in the red binder) from Victoria Ingrams, the league’s president, confirms that the league worked under the Association for the Propagation of the Faith. Because of this, in 1998, the then National Director found he was responsible for formally winding up the league with the Charity Commission. The purpose of the league was to supply missionary priests with Mass kits, sacramentals, altar furnishings and vestments. The women for a time occupied rooms in the basements of no. 59 and no. 23, where they carried out their work of repairing linens and posting our the items
