Written in textura, somewhat clumsily, in two sizes, the smaller for the sung forms.
Initial, to secretum, 2-line, red.

Hinge strips in Shelfmark of source: Cosin R.V.34 in J. Caius, De antiquitate Cantabrigiensis Academiae libri duo (London: per Henricum Bynneman., Anno domini 1568. mense Augusto), bound in brown calf, gold-tooled centrepiece incorporating initials T B and Y, late 16th century.
“[conspec]tu meo semper -- commo[uear] ... ... in eo legitim” September embertide Friday offertorium - communio, and Saturday lection i; the forms are as Missale Sarum, 542 and 543, except the offertorium which is probably that based on Ps. xv:8 beginning “Benedicam dominum qui mihi tribuit intellectum”.
