Reused as pastedown on Shelfmark of source: Routh 3.C.9, now SB+ 0098 - Haereseologia, hoc est, opus veterum tam Graecorum quam Latinorum theologorum, per quos omnes, quae per Catholicam Christi ecclesiam grassatae sunt, haereses confutantu (Basel: [per Henrichum Petri], Mense Septembri Anno 1556), binding, 16th century, brown calf over wooden boards; blind panel in centre of front cover of St Gertrude within a Renaissance portico, and with the ex libris of the monastery dedicated to her at Louvain; on the back cover another portico framing the arms of the abbot under the date 1557, with his initials PH and motto “Inter spinas Calceatus”. Rebacked 20th century, label, “Repaired by Birdsall and Son ...
