Durham (Whitwell, Sherburn and Quarrington Moor, Whitton, with Stillington and Thorpe Thewles, Garmondsway, Raisby and Quarrington, Bishopton and Grindon, Redmarshall and Smallmoor, Cassop, Hartlepool, Gateshead, Coxhoe, and Bishop Auckland) belonging to the hospital founded near Durham c.1183; deeds transferred to the Dean & Chapter c.1900.
