No pricking visible. Ruled in fine sharp grey. 10 lines occupy 49 mm. Written height at least 160 mm. 2 columns, 33+ lines.
Written in textura
Text-capitals lined with red. Initial, to chapter, 2-line, blue with red flourishing.
Written in Northern France?, later 13th century.
Former hinge-strips of Shelfmark of source: Routh LXXII.E.7 - Charles Estienne, De nutrimentis, (Paris: ex officina Rob. Steph., 1550), with sides blind-tooled with Oldham roll RP.e.(1), found on books printed 1550-56 and attributed to London, and with an English note on the back pastedown including the date “Febr. 1o 1581”.
