Letter from W. Baillie Strong to the Qaid of the Sudan Defence Force [R.L. Scoones] describing in some detail the riots which took place in Khartoum on 1 Mar which he viewed from the roof of the SDF headquarters
building. A number of policemen were killed during the riot.
