No pricking visible. Ruled lightly in sharp dark grey, both for text and, independently (?) but barely visible, for marginal gloss. Written space, of text 219-222 x 121 mm on each page; of marginal gloss, up to 278 mm high. 38 lines of text, the first above the top ruled line; up to 105 lines of marginal gloss.
Written in proto-gothic textura, gloss written in Caroline minuscule
A few text capitals filled with red. Marginal chapter-numbers in red.
Written in France or England, mid 12th century.
Former pastedowns in Shelfmark of source: SB+ 0049 (Routh XXII.C.10) - first volume of Plutarch, Opuscula (Venice: in aedibus Aldi & Andreae Asulani soceri, 1509) (removed August 1931).
